'Write Your Story' program: upcoming publications

Memory Guide My Hand - Volume 6: In celebration of Israel’s 60th birthday, Makor Library and the State Zionist Council of Victoria will launch an anthology of stories showing our community’s strong connection with Israel. The anthology will include autobiographical stories from local community members which will put a personal face to the history of Israel’s 60 years.

Alice Landau's memoir will be launched on 15 March 2009.

Memory Guide My Hand - Volume 5: The 2nd anthology of writings by Jewish-Russian immigrants, kindly supported by the Port Phillip Council Multicultural Commission, was launched by Makor Library together with the National Council of Jewish Women, Victoria on 25 September at the South Melbourne Senior Citizens Club:

Also, video and photos from the  2008 Melbourne Writers Festival celebration of this book-launch are on DVD which is available for loan at the Library.
